About David C. Barry, Esquire
New Jersey Attorney
David C. Barry is a widely known and respected New Jersey attorney with over 27 years of successful legal experience.
David received both his Bachelor’s Degree and his Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He served as a legal intern at the United States Claims Court in Washington, D.C.
After a successful early career as a litigator at large New Jersey law firms and Fortune 500 corporations, David realized that his career path had taken him away from what inspired him to become a lawyer in the first place: helping people solve real life legal problems.
In 2003, David joined Laura Bowne Barry, Esq. to form the Law Firm of Bowne Barry & Barry. The Firm’s mission is to provide clients with large firm experience and expertise with the responsiveness and cost-effectiveness of a small firm.
David’s legal practice focuses on defending individuals charged with serious offenses, including DUI/DWI, Drug Possession, Shoplifting and other crimes as well as serious traffic offenses. Similarly, instead of attempting to defend these cases all over New Jersey, David focuses on representing defendants in the Municipal Courts of Central New Jersey – Middlesex, Monmouth, Somerset and Mercer counties. This approach allows David to provide his clients with both the subject matter expertise and the “local knowledge” (of the judge, prosecutor, police, etc.) that often makes a big difference for them.
David is a hands-on lawyer. When you retain him, he will personally handle your case – it will not be handed off to an inexperienced associate. He will return your calls in a timely manner. He will be candid with you about the strengths and weaknesses of your case and, more importantly, draw upon his substantial experience in advising you about the best course of action. In short, you will be treated as a valued partner in your own defense.
David is pleased to offer free telephone or in-office consultations to prospective clients. He can be reached at (732) 204-7387.
